Not Without Hope:
Dealing with Grief
"Not Without Hope: Dealing with Grief" is a new ministry of Arlington Baptist Church based on I Corinthians 15:19, which says, "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable." Also, I Thessalonians 4:13b, which states, "...that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
This ministry will entail the reading and discussion of four booklets that cover many issues surrounding the trauma of losing a loved one. The purpose of this ministry is to help individuals who struggle with and are often locked into grief. This support group is offered to anyone who needs help to further process their own feelings of grief, no matter how long ago the loss (There is no set time limit for any one person to be at a given state of grief!).
Registration, meetings, and materials are free, and individuals may join the group at the start or any time after the meetings begin. People may also repeat the program as often as they would like, also at no charge. Zoom meetings are available for those that choose not to meet in person.
